Yum food festival

Yum food festival is an event held in Hull every year since 2012 . It has everything from fringe events, special offers and of course lots of food. This year I have attended today (7th) only due to it being my birthday tomorrow and im jetting off to Malta on Saturday! Today I went with the boyfriend for a good look round and had an amazing time. This is another post where I get to have a good talk about Hull and the city of culture bid which we recently won. At the moment there is a lot of different events in Hull and such like going on like Yum and  freedom festival.

Today's theme was 'Best of British' which included lots of of-course British food and live music at night. As you can see from the pictures there was a lot of great food on offer from businesses  all over the Hull and East Yorkshire. A personal favourite of mine was the fancy snow cones made by the very well dressed man at Temperance Cordials. I would also like to thank my very patient boyfriend who spends a lot of time wondering around with me for blog posts and actually helped me get pictures for this post!

The day went down a storm so well done to everyone who organised the event. If you are in the area make sure you come and have a look round!
