Two favourite jumpsuits - Topshop v Primark

I love a good jumpsuit and I recently picked up these two floral ones from Primark and Topshop. The first purple long sleeved one is the Topshop play suit and it was £14 in the sale. It may not be the best for a boiling hot summers day however great to either dress up by adding a blazer or dress down. The black crop top does not come with it however I find it a little too revealing without something there. The second playsuit is the Primark piece and was only £7 down from £13 and I love the print and the style / straps at the back. I added a little belt also from Primark however it does not come with the outfit.

I'm planning on taking both of these outfits away with me on holiday and I am doing a week in outfits whilst I am away so you can look forward to seeing them with the whole outfits put together.

Let me know what you think!

The fragrance shop - Discovery Club*

I received this Box from the Fragrance shop at the Lincoln blog meet and fell in Love with the idea of it. You can pay £5 a quarter or £20 a year to receive boxes full of a big variety of  perfume samples. Therefore it gives you the opportunity to try out lots of different scents as well as some new releases  in your own home. Meaning you can skip out the day spent in shops smelling a million and one different perfumes which ends up with them all smelling the same.

Also in the box you receive money off vouchers meaning if you fall in love with one you can purchase the full size one with a big saving. Another benefit of the box is with every subscription the fragrance shop donates 5p to Rays of Sunshine children's charity. Which means there no guilt for buying! Even though for £20 a year its going to be one of the cheapest subscription boxes out there!

I very kindly received the 6th edition of the club box from the fragrance shop with included:
 - Guerlain La Petite Noire Couture
- Givenchy very irresistible L'eau en Rose
- Eau de Lacoste Sensualle
- Thierry Mugler Alien Eau Extraordinaire
- Elie saab le parfum L'Eau Couture
- Valentino Uomo
- Loewe solo sport

Blogger interviews #1 - Nicholas Rider

So  I posted, a couple of posts back, explaining my plan to do blog interviews to get more involved in the community. Starting off the series then is Nicholas Rider a Photography blogger from Sydeny. His photography is amazing so after reading this make sure to check him out!

‘What is your blog called and what is it about?’
My blog is called ‘Nicholas Rider Photography’ (www.nicholasriderphoto.tumblr.com). I guess it’s basically a ‘photo diary’, where I can post all my photography. I also post behind the scene photos, written work of my own, inspirational quotes, and links to interesting videos or articles about photography.

‘Why did you want to start your blog?’

I have a website which is more of a portfolio and an overview of my photographic style, but I wanted a place where I could regularly post my work – whether it be a single image, or a set of photographs. A blog also allows me to easily combine my photos with words.

‘What’s some other blogs you like and where do you take inspiration from?’
I could list loads of blogs and photographers that I love, but here’s three I find myself looking at on a regular basis:
Ben Clement – www.benclementtt.tumblr.com
Mike Dann – www.mdann.tumblr.com
Melissa Findley – www.blog.melissa-findley.com
Apart from taking inspiration from other photographers, I take inspiration from art, music, reading, writing and travelling.
‘What are you hoping for in the future?’
Blogging is definitely something I want to continue doing. I think a blog is a useful and easily accessible tool to get my photography out into the wider world. So whether I’m doing photography as a fulltime thing or not in the future, I’ll keep making use of my blog to share my work with other people.
‘What your social media sites?’
Website – www.nicholasriderphoto.com.au
Facebook – www.facebook.com/nicholasriderphoto
Twitter – @NicholasRider_

So that was the first interview in my new blogger interviews feature! I had so much lovely response from lots of  amazing bloggers. Originally I thought this feature would last for around a month however I currently have 7 weeks worth of interviews already scheduled! Therefore im going to allow this feature to continue. This means if you want to be interview then I will be more then happy to carry this on as I am having so much fun talking to so many lovely people, I feel like it would be stupid not to. Id like to thank Nicholas for kicking off this series so make sure you go and check out his blog!

Whats in my carry on bag?

I am going away ALOT in August! So as im getting all packed up and ready I thought I would show what is in my carry on bag.

Bag - BHS
Headphones - Skull Candy
Iphone
Purse - Harrods
Camera - Fujifilm
Glasses (and case) - Jigsaw - blog post here
Sunglasses - Fossil
Books - I find it a lot easier on holiday to re read books. I'm currently re reading the Divergent series and thought I would take mocking-jay as well as its getting closer to part 1 coming out!
mini notebook and memory stick - Being stuck in the airport or on the plane its always nice to watch the shows what you like not what they provide. Therefore I always put some of my favourite DVDS ect onto a memory stick and watch them on a notebook as taking a normal sized laptop would not be a smart move.

Travelling make-up / emergency kit bag -
Bobby pins and hair ties
Concealer, mascara, Lip balm, benefit miniature and BB Cream - I never wear make-up when on the flight however when I land its nice to have a bit of make-up on for the day / night. Obviously its not a full face of make-up so I recommend a light BB cream with a lip balm.
Face samples and Benefit miniatures - Most of us always have free samples lying around the place whether there from blog meets or just from the shops. I find it the perfect time to have a bit of a pamper session mid flight as your skin will definitely thank you for it.
Perfume samples - Perfume samples are also great for flying as they are below 100 ml. You can take as many as you want and they will last while you are away.  I got there's from the discovery club box by the fragance shop and will be posting a blog post on it soon.
Hand sanitiser
Chewing Gum

I hope this helped anybody. As well as travelling a lot in August its going to be a very big month on my blog which im not going to reveal quite yet! As well as that I have lots of blogger interviews typed up and ready to go so make sure you follow me on blog lovin for the next month so you don't miss anything!

Lush - Angels on bare skin*

My skin is pretty horrible. I've suffered from acne for as long as I can remember and am always looking for different products whether natural or not to get me skin looking its best.

I really like the concept of this product. I simply take a small piece in my hand and add water to make it into a paste. Then massage it onto the face with my finger tips and wash off! I repeat this about twice a week.

I found it to be quite a mild cleanser so im not going to say its a wonder product which improved all my blemishes. However it is a nice little product as I found it very healing and calming. I love the smell of this product though. It smells incredibly fresh with lots of lavender flowers being added to the product.  However if you don't really like the smell of lavender you probably wont enjoy this. The product I found to really soften my skin, making it feel refreshed. I strongly believe in what it says, It does gently exfoliate and removes dirt. I also found that it didn't dry out my skin which is always a plus.

Have you tired it? what's your thoughts?
